understanding of a lake or stream's water quality condition.
Hydrologic Modeling
Hydrologic modeling of streams determines flood elevations and provides data required for permitting projects within floodway boundaries.
Design-Build
Design-build and watershed management plans include full-service design-build solutions, such as wetland restoration,
reforestation, filter strips, in-stream grade control structures,
sediment traps, constructed wetland filters, and various low-impact
development techniques.
Our aquatics team works with lake associations, conservancy districts, watershed groups, and municipalities to develop watershed management plans. We can help with the grant application process with federal agencies, state agencies, and foundations for watershed plans or project feasibility studies.
The Cardno JFNew team is trained to use the Rosgen Stream Classification System to classify streams based on quantifiable measurements to produce consistent, reproducible descriptions of stream types and conditions.
