Description
Field Crew Scheduling
Establishes, promotes, and assures quality on all projects and work performed by direct reports; assigns employees to project teams; monitors project production and schedules to ensure projects are completed on schedule; performs technical and coordination checking of project documents; follows up on issues with scope and works with employees to resolve problems and concerns.
Project Management
Assists with recruitment, resource, and financial needs of the unit. Provides input on field workers in conjunction with director; conducts team meetings on a regular basis.
Equipment Scheduling & Procurement
Project management responsibilities involve project budgeting, scheduling, directing subordinates, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines, and communicating with superiors and clients. Reviews project progress and performance.
Field Work
Assists with field work as necessary to assure project profitability and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
Proven equipment operator experience.
Herbicide applicator's license. Category 5 and 6
Chauffer's driver's license
Excellent scheduling skills
Open communicator
Familiar with Microsoft office programs
Familiarity with landscaping/ natural areas restoration industry
Practical knowledge of field installation methods
Basic mechanical skills
0-2 Years in similar position; or 2+ years managing restoration or landscape projects
This position may be expected to travel and stay out-of-town 1-4 nights per week, and should be prepared to travel on short notice. When this occurs, travel expenses are paid by JFNew.
