The Kentucky Stormwater Association is hosting the annual KSA Conference August 8-10, 2012 at the Hilton Cincinnati Airport in Florence, KY.  In addition to providing training and updates on the latest stormwater related issues.  In attendance will be MS4s, state and local government representatives, consultants, sponsors and other stormwater professionals from across the state.

Cardno JFNew's Stu Kogge will be presenting   Wetland and Stream Restoration Techniques Following Emergency Response Actions to the Line 6B Oil Leak in Marshall, Michigan at the May 18th meeting of the Southwest District meeting of the MIchigan Association of County Drain Commissioners.

The presentation will be from 10:30 – 11:15.  

The Indiana Department of Environmental Management will be hosting the 2012 MS4 Annual Meeting at 9am on May 17th

The annual Earth Day Benefit Dinner is The Conservation Foundation's largest fundraiser of the year. This year's Earth Day Benefit Dinner will celebrate The Conservation Foundation's 40th Anniversary and be held on April 19th, 2012 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.  It features an exquisite dinner, raffles, an inspiring video and a not-to-be-missed nature-themed silent auction.

Tickets to the 2011 Earth Day Benefit Dinner are $100/person.

The 8th Annual Southeastern Wisconsin Watersheds Trust (Sweetwater) Clean Rivers, Clean Lakes Conference will be held on Monday, April 30 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Discovery World on Lake Michigan at 500 North Harbor Drive in Milwaukee. The conference will offer a full day of comprehensive water quality information, including workshops for engineers, residents, businesses, elected officials and representatives of government and nongovernmental organizations.

The conference plenary sessions will include policy updates by Susan Hedman, EPA Region 5 Administrator, and Wisconsin DNR Secretary Cathy Stepp as well as discussion by research scientists concerning Great Lakes challenges led by David Garman, Dean of UWM’s School of Freshwater Sciences. Workshop topics will include regional water project updates, new rural and urban nonpoint pollution tactics, salt/chloride use innovations, and details about the proven connections between water quality and business growth. The luncheon will also include a ceremony to congratulate the 2011-2012 Sweet Water mini-grant awardees.
